Dark Nights won the 'directors choice' award at the Cornwall Film Festival awards ceremony on Sunday 11th Nov 2012. The film was screened at the Lighthouse Cinema in Newquay as part of the 3 day annual event, now in its 10th year.

In the quiet dark of the night you can hear with alarming clarity. The cameras ability to record what I can faintly see is even more alarming, some of the things I hear are entirely made up. It's hard to distinguish what might be in the shadows or wether they hold any real definition. The night gradually takes on its own shape, soft and hard edges begin to reveal themselves.
